Muayad Al Samaraee

Muayad Al Samaraee, President & CEO

Mr. Muayad is the founder of several successful enterprises all over the world ranging from high tech companies, to safety and security equipment manufacturing. He was drafted in the obligatory national service in the Iraqi military and served in the air force for a period of over 5 years.

Muayad graduated with a degree in avionics from Baghdad, Iraqi Civil Aviation Institute, and pursued the CPL in Jordan. In 2001 he founded Jordan Aerospace Industries (JAI) the first certified light aircraft manufacturing company in the Middle East. Muayad is also a Certified Aircraft Flight Tester since 2003 and has been endorsed by the original designer of the Sama in Toronto-Canada Muayad also holds a Production and Flight Test certificates from Canada and is currently studying Aviation Science at Utah University. JAI has been a great success and Muayad continues to develop this industry through introducing new products, forming alliances and creating the nucleus for aviation technology studies.

Muayad was granted the Jordanian citizenship through a royal decree as an appreciation for his vital contributions in the aerospace industry in Jordan.

Mr. Jamal Mohammad Falah

Mr. Jamal Mohammad Falah, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Jamal is a certified JCPA and has been with JAI since 2001. He is also the Executive partner in the Scientific Office for Auditing, Accounting & Consulting. He is a member in Midsnell Group International since 1982 and a member in the Jordanian Certified Accountants Association since 1981. With 36 years of practical experience Mr. Jamal has great exposure to local and international private and public sector industries.

Additionally, Mr. Jamal is an officially appointed by Jordanian courts for financial auditing and tax services. Along with his team Mr. Jamal is charge of all financial aspects of JAI including overseeing budgeting, financial planning, feasibility studies and analysis.

Tamara Mash

Tamara Mash, VP & Industrial Facilities Director

Tamara joined the team in 2003 and is currently the director of the industrial facilities. Tamara has 17 years international experience in the US and the Middle East in management, engineering design and business development.

Her experience includes managing and developing new businesses as well as maintaining existing ones in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, health care, energy management and environmental audits. Tamara holds a Bachelor Degree BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, Indiana USA.

Abdalla Adel-Gary

Abdalla Adel-Gary, Director Of Manufacturing

Abdalla Adel-Gary joined JAI in April of 2003, Abdalla is one of the founders of JAI and is the lead manufacturing engineer on the Sama Aircraft Series. He is responsible for manned and unmanned aircraft production and development.

Abdalla has 17 years in aerospace engineering experience including being the Head of C130 maintenance shop in the Royal Jordanian Air force where he had worked for 11 years and the liaison officer and one of the engineers who established and planned for the Marshall project where he had worked for 3 years. Abdalla has production certification from Canada and holds a BS in Aerospace University from California, USA.

Awad Naimat

Awad Naimat, Quality Assurance, Certification and Safety Director

Awad joined our team in 2003 and had been a pillar in developing and sustaining the QA processes for the Sama aircraft. With over 12 years of certification experience, Awad is responsible for the certification process with the CAAs thorough out the region.

Prior to joining us Awad worked at the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission as an Inspector and later Head of Technical Evaluation department, he later joined Royal Jordanian Airlines and Jordan Aviation as Quality Manager. Awad is greatly familiar with most of NAA’s Regulations pertaining to operators, maintenance facilities and products certifications. Awad holds a B. Sc. in Aeronautical engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology.

Tamer Mash

Tamer Mash, Software Engineering Director

Tamer joined our team in 2003 to develop our software systems for the manned and unmanned programs. He successfully developed our UAV autopilot; he also developed a universal ground control station for both manned and unmanned systems. He also developed the software system for a GPS tracking antenna.

Prior to that Tamer worked and studies for nine years in the Silicon Valley in California where he worked on many projects with many different companies such as Hitachi, Philips, Compaq, Intel, and DEC.

Tamer is our head software architect and designer and holds a BS degree in Software Engineering from California State University Hayward and is specialized in control systems and systems programming with over eleven years of experience.

Nouri Daoud

Nouri Daoud, Telecom and Hardware Director

Nouri joined our team in 2004 to develop our telecom program in the Sama surveillance platforms and had successfully completed several projects on GSM/WLL, WLAN and ISM802.11.

Prior to that Nouri worked at the Canadian Space Agency “CSA” with RADARSAT1 satellite team as a telecommunication senior engineer and with SpaceBridge Semiconductor Inc. as a project manager and principal design engineer.

Nouri holds a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) in 1993 and specialized on the field of RF system design integration on microchips. He obtained his BSEE from University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq.

Yacoub Nabil

Yacoub Nabil, Project Manager

Yacoub has a degree in Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, he joined JAI in 2005. His duties include developing conceptual airframe designs and part details and manufacturing. Using 3D modeling and analysis Yacoub is responsible for process optimization and continuously upgrading production and manufacturing processes.

He is also responsible for performing and overseeing development of new or improved manufacturing and assembly processes for metal and composite materials.

Maher Bino

Maher Bino, Logistics & After Sales Sr. Manager

Maher joined our marketing department in 2004 and currently holds the position of business development and Customer & Parts Service Manager. Maher has been numerously praised by the Iraqi Air Force and the US Army among others for his dedication and perseverance and commitment for customer services excellence.

Maher holds an MBA from Leeds Metropolitan University in Business Administration with major concentration in marketing.

Muaiad Mustaf

Muaiad Mustaf, Operation Manager

Muayad holds an ATP CFI and CPL/IR. His versatile education includes training in France, Jordan and Iraq in Master Military Scientific, FLS (Flight Leader School), FCF (Functional check flight) and OUC (Operational Conferential Unit).

Muayad joined JAI in 2005 as chief test pilot and operation manager. He has over 2400 of flying hours on aircraft such as Bravo, CUP-10, Epsilon, Foga Megastar, Alpha Jet, Mig 21, Mirage F1( Eq 2, Eq 4 ,Eq 5 and EQ6). He had also flown the Archer 3, Seminole and JAI Hawk-I CH8000 and the Sama Aircraft Series.

Muayad was a jet fighter and formation leader in the Iraqi Air Force. He has 26 years of experience in aviation field.

Mathieu Heintz

Mathieu Heintz, Engineering & Support Chief Consultant

Mathieu is the CEO of our Canadian partners Zenair ltd that is a 38 years old Canadian company in the exclusive business of designing, developing and manufacturing light aircraft with manufacturing facilities in Canada and the US. Mathieu holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the US.
